Getting started.
1. Download and install
Use Green and Purple immediately, free. Choose the macOS or Windows x64 installer below, then follow the instructions for your platform.
2. Add the full edition when you want more
Green and Purple stay free without a time limit. Buy a full licence for Blue, Red, Black and Create, including custom engine building and engine import/export.

Choroboros v1.0.5 for macOS. Universal VST3, AU, AAX and standalone installer. Green and Purple are free without a time limit or licence key. A paid licence unlocks Blue, Red, Black and Create, including engine import/export. Previously issued trials retain their original terms.

Download Choroboros for Windows
Signed installer for Windows x64 VST3 hosts. It installs the plugin together with its complete factory artwork, so nothing has to be copied by hand. No standalone application or Windows AAX is included.
Download Windows installer (304.5 MB)- Save your work and fully quit your DAW. Check in Task Manager that it is no longer running.
- Run the installer and approve the administrator prompt. The publisher shown is Kaizen Strategic AI Inc. Choroboros is installed to
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Your licence, presets and custom engines are kept. - Open your x64 DAW and rescan VST3 plugins if needed. Green and Purple are free without a key. For the full edition, choose Register in Choroboros and paste your purchased licence key.
Signature checks and automated Windows install, artwork and plugin-host tests passed for this exact installer. DAW and Windows-version compatibility can vary; this is not a claim that every host has been tested. If the interface opens without its artwork, fully quit and reopen your DAW. Manual ZIP installation (advanced)
The same signed plugin and factory artwork as a ZIP for manual installation. Download Windows VST3 ZIP (306.0 MB)
- Fully quit your DAW first. Extract the ZIP. Preserve a backup of any existing plugin before replacing it.
- Copy the complete
Choroboros.vst3folder toC:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Do not copy only the inner binary. Windows may request administrator approval for this folder. - Copy the
ChoroborosAssets-2.0.52folder from the extractedAssetsfolder into%APPDATA%\Kaizen Strategic AI\Choroboros\Assets\, so thatmanifest.jsonends up in%APPDATA%\Kaizen Strategic AI\Choroboros\Assets\ChoroborosAssets-2.0.52\. Create the destination if needed. The factory asset pack is required. - Only then open your DAW. Choroboros looks for its artwork once each time the DAW starts, so after any change to these folders, fully quit and reopen the DAW.
The ZIP’s INSTALL.txt contains an earlier validation-status note. Subsequent signature/trust and automated host tests passed.
